Men should be very instrumental in addressing this problem by treating women with high degree of respect and avoid taking advantage of their weaknesses.
There are a number of measures that can be put in place to protect women from domestic abuses, as well as the negative effects of abuses that they are subjected to in life. First, women should be empowered economically to make them independent financially. This will help them fight for their rights equally as men and protect them from abuses that they are subjected to because of their dependence on men. A number of initiatives aimed at empowering women should be put in place by both the government and the private sector. The fact that initiative loans are being readily made available to women so that they can embark on entrepreneurial activities is a viable initiative that can be very instrumental in reducing the domestic abuse on women. Women should also be trained on how to conduct businesses in order to successfully start and be able to run their business, thereby, making them independent financially. Secondly, women can be educated on their rights and the importance of them fighting for their rights, as well as gender equality in the society. Creating awareness among women on their rights will help in eradicating abuses directed toward them. Women will also be in a position to report on any form of abuses that are subjected to them to the relevant authority so that the legal action can be taken against the offender.
Another, viable solution to the problem will be a formulation of laws and policies that discourage abuses on women in both government and private institutions. Stiff penalties should be placed on any person found guilty of abusing women. Legal framework will be effective in reducing the number of cases related to abuses on women. Therefore, in order to come up with a sample size that will truly reflect the impact of domestic violence on various groups of people in society, the online survey will be limited to a one thousand people. Another problem that one is likely to encounter in carrying out this study will be the limitation on time. Given that the subject of the study will be wide and the data collected are likely to be huge, one will face the problem of inadequacy of time available to successfully complete the study and write the final report within the given time frame. The problem of time will be addressed by conducting an online survey, which will only be limited to 1000 participants.
Another problem that one is likely to encounter in the process of carrying out this study will be the likelihood of inaccurate data that may be given by some respondents. In order to minimize the errors of the data collected, one will only take those questionnaires that will be accurately completed and use them to come up with the final report. The problem of constraint on the financial resources available to complete the study will be another problem that one is likely to face in the course undertaking this study. In order to overcome this obstacle, one will have to develop a budget plan within which one will strictly operate to avoid financial constraints that may hinder completion of the project on time.
Finally, one is likely to encounter a problem of accessing literature materials that address the issue of domestic abuses on women within the school. In order to overcome this problem, one will subscribe in one of the online libraries in order to have an access to all literature that addresses the issue of domestic abuses on women. The resources should be those that focus on the factors that fuel domestic abuses and the impacts of abuses and those that focus on what needs to be done in order to address the issue of domestic abuses on women in society.
